Dementia Study Day for Home Care Staff

This one day training provides attendees with the opportunity to consider how best to provide care and support to people living with dementia. 

Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session participants will be able to

• Describe what dementia is and the main types 
• Recognise the need for person centred communication 
• Identify the signs of delirium and pain and respond appropriately 
• Promote oral hygiene and physical mobility
