In order to deliver the new models of care that will provide patients and service users with the responsive and meaningful care they require, we all need a greater understanding of the broader system within which care is delivered and received.
One way to achieve this is to share time with each other, learning together to care together. We are holding a half-day workshop on 15th May at the Whittington Hospital, bringing together professionals from across general practice, pharmacy, mental health, community care, social work and acute settings.
There will be a pop-up Schwartz Round at the event, which is another multidisciplinary reflective group with the focus being exclusively on the emotional impact of our day to day work and not problem solving.
Why should you attend?
This exciting and fully facilitated inter-professional learning event will be an opportunity to explore the approaches taken by different professionals to the challenge of managing complexity, and what skills we all need in order to support people within our profession and colleagues from other professions.
