Sule Birsel Kangulec Keremoglu

With a career founded in the voluntary sector, working alongside children and young people, Sule Kangulec went on to work in local government, managing community safety programmes and teams. After gaining considerable experience in this field she then worked in regional government, developing offender management programmes. Sule also worked within central government where she developed policies on Integrated Offender Management (IOM).

After founding Community Matters together with Murat, Sule developed and delivered a number of projects within the field of education. She was involved in the development of CEPN from their inception, working as a consultant in partnership with health and social care organisations.

Sule established the Islington and Haringey CEPNs as well as developing innovative programmes with key stakeholders. These included Hub and Spoke student nurse placement models, clinical supervision methods and integrated learning events including cultural competency training.

Sule piloted high profiles programmes including Integrated Care, Certificate Training, Super Training Hub for community as well as primary care nursing staff. Sule was also a key player in the development of the successful Nursing Associate pilot for North Central London.

Sule is passionate about innovation and collaborative working. This very ethos permeates everything that Community Matters does on a daily basis.
