Murat Ozcelik

Director / Senior Consultant

Murat Ozcelik has a wealth of experience spanning some 25 years in journalism, education, public service transformation and project / programme management. Whilst working in various managerial positions within local authorities, Murat has overseen health and social care integration programmes as well as the implementation of new national legislation for health and social care reform. His key areas of expertise lie in business modelling and process mapping, strategy and policy development as well as skills audits and workforce mapping. Additionally, he has delivered major scale saving plans and efficiency programmes for the public sector.

After establishing Community Matters with Sule, Murat worked with schools in the UK and abroad to deliver educational projects. More recently, Murat has primarily been working in the health and social care sector developing and implementing transformation programmes.

At Community Matters Murat has been instrumental in driving the company forward with a hands on approach. He carried out a health check review for Camden CCG’s Locality Investment Programme, established Camden CEPN programme and continues to programme manage its delivery. Murat additionally set up Enfield and BHR CEPNs and has been overseeing their delivery including providing quality assurance.

Murat is passionate about improving opportunities for less-advantageous populations, equality and attention to detail. He is a keen follower of politics and current affairs and how different cultures interact with each other, and the impact of these interactions on daily life.
